The following table lists the nation's top high schools based on the number of their alumni who
received the top order of Australia honours - Companion of the Order (AC)
between 1975 and 2010. There are 435 people who have received Companion since
the honours were first awarded in 1975. The Companion is Australia’s greatest
civic honour. In the Australian honours system appointments to the Order of
Australia confer recognition for outstanding achievement and service.
