a friend of mine found a painter in a free Chinese news paper. he guaranty do this and that (you can see the ads: high quality work...: who believe that anyway). you know what happened? he bought a color painting oil of master bedroom (yellowish milky color), and was to paint whole house. lucky my friend found eailier, and only painted three rooms.
the friend doesn't want to use him any more, and asked me how much he should be paid? what to do in this situation? I have no idea! what do you do if you are in this situation?
right, everyone can paint, but the results would be different. a professional painter would make your house radiated; however, you may not achieve the same result!
whoever with a bad experience cannot say all painters are that bad. maybe involved some misunderstanding.
I would suggest you to pay him a little bit, which depends: if he hasn't finished say one room, but left some same color paint to enable you to finish your room in a same color, pay him a little bit more. if he deliberately make you difficult: take paint away as he hasn't finished a room. In this situation you may need to buy paint to paint twice for the room, you may not pay him at all. some painters deal with this situation better than others.
