My friend has Simonds Home as her builder to complete her house. What she found: Simonds quoted expensive products, and installed the cheaper ones including her air conditioner and basins.

I would suggest you to check all the products against your contract, and if they're not right ones, ask them to swap during construction. Otherwise it's too late to change them like my friend who found out all these things after the house been handed-over.

Yes, that's what exactly happened on our house! We built our house with Simonds, and were shocked by those accessories that were not as quoted! What are we going to do: have to spend time to fight with them.

I guess some builders they lower their construction cost to get the work, but dont want to lower their margin/profit. So they opt to cheat! They ultimately rely on cheating their customers to make a large margin!
