In order to collect a sample that is representative of the natural formation to represent formation water and naturally mobile contaminants, not stagnant water in the well or mobilized contaminants, micropurge low-flow sampling method been used often at these days. From my experiences, micropurge is a quick method if the equipment works well, however, a false equipment can prolong your groundwater sampling: couldn't pump the water up! The technician from the hire company couldn't find any problems of the equipment either: what's going on?
Could you share your experience on using micropurge unit with me? Do you have any useful tips?
