Thanks for supporting our education system.
You are right. There is no national school ranking in Australia. This is because there is no unified education system in Australia and there is resistance to such a listing from schools and teachers union. Each state has a different high school education certification system such as VCE in Victoria, HSC in NSW and ACT, OP in Queensland and so on. Although some of the ranking systems are similar, such as ENTER, UAI, TER, but not all, for example, OP is different.
Like you, Better Education Australia tries to support our education system by initiating the school ranking. See "
How does Better Education Australia rank schools?". This is our first step. Please visit the school ranking of VIC, NSE, ACT and QLD at
http://bettereducation.com.au/SchoolRanking.aspx. Due to the regulation of other states, we cannot publish their results.
There is good news, we'll have a nationally unified education system soon, see
Nationally unified Year 12 student ranking system ATAR to replace UAI/TER/ENTER (the second post).
