to all parents and whom it may concern

The senate inquiry into the administration and reporting of NAPLAN testing might have started yesterday. Click the link to see the submission.

I would like to hear from all of you: Should Australia have a transparent education system?

I had a quick look the submission. Those people seem to me against NAPLAN ranking. Non of them have shown any support for the NAPLAN rankings.

you fail.

The word is "submission". Even with the forum spell checker you got it wrong.

"it might have started yesterday ?" hopefully the comprehension standard we expect from our students would recognise the problem with this statement.

Should Australian have a transparent education system. Yes. obviously. I'd hope that students would also recognise the bias in the question. Or was it rhetorical ?

here are the people's voices perhaps ?

It would be interesting to see how you would fare in the 2010 year 9 reading or language conventions tests. These were the kinds of mistakes that were being penalised. I think when you found yourselves at the bottom of the league table, you wouldn't be so eager for them to be published.

Oh, I should have realised, you are the organisation responsible or publishing the league tables.

As if you can judge a school or a student based on a 45 minte test, like I might judge you, based on your ability to post on a forum without making grammatical mistakes.

Life just isn't that simplistic.

perhaps for some less biased content you should look at this submission.

In People's Voice on Reporting NAPLAN Results, there is only one voice "Keep School Results Transparent". The voice should be singular. Also the voice here means the right or opportunity to express opinions. Again it should be singular.

Sounds like you're a principal of a school! d'oh! I'm a parent!Drool What I have hoped for your teachers: to correct my children's grammar or spelling error. There is no point to correct them. Please DON'T use your energy to correct me either!

Again, what I am worrying is my children would not read and write properly!Liar

Do you have a problem to publish the NPLAN results? Why? What you're scared of?

Why I need to care if they fail. I do care if my children fail to read and writie! I don't care about who's voice! I do care about my children's future!

Let parents know the school results. We will assist the school for the children's education. I believe it's good for for the teachers who would know where should be working on.
