Rainforest Maths program was created by Australian teacher, Jenny Eather, as a website for primary school students. It was extremely popular with schools in Australia and worldwide and was purchased by Mathletics in October 2008. The website is now only available to Mathletics subscribers. Blake Education has purchased the rights to offer the site to schools as a CD-ROM for single levels or all seven levels. Each level can be installed onto school networks, classroom computers or used on an interactive whiteboard.

There are over 800 interactive mathematics activities for Prep to Grade 6 covering the math strands of Number, Number Systems, Operations & Calculations, Strategies & Processes, Patterns & Algebra, Measurement, Space & Geometry, Chance & Probability, Data Analysis and Money. The activities are written to address the outcomes of the maths curriculum in all grades and states. It is particularly useful for preparing students for state and national testing programs.

The site has a FNQ theme and features activities related to Mission Beach, the FNQ coast and hinterland as well as animals like the Cassowary, Mahogany Glider, Herbert River Possum, Lumholtz Tree Kangaroo. Using Rainforest Maths is an excellent way to begin integrating ICT into your Maths curriculum.

Yes, you can pay for your items by credit card.

You can pay for your items via PayPal, even if you prefer not to open a PayPal account. To pay for your items with your credit card: When you are redirected to PayPal, look out for "Don't have a PayPal account?" and "Pay with your debit or credit card as a PayPal guest".

Here are the steps:

1. Click Pay Now in the request.

2. Click Continue on invoice page

3. On the next page, look out for "Don't have a PayPal account?" and "Use your credit card or bank account (where available)". Then click Continue.
