More middle class welfare!!!

Has it not occurred to politicians that those who do not earn enough to pay tax (mature age students, unemployed, part time workers) DO NOT BENEFIT FROM TAX DEDUCTIONS?
Those who do not need $375 a year benefit the most! Stupid.

How long since University Austudy went up to keep up with the cost of living?
How come those who are most in need of further education have to pay up-front for TAFE?

How about some real help instead of vote-buying?

We need an alternative political party to our 2-Liberal party system. That is hardly democracy.
