After read an article "How to adjust to a life more ordinary" written by Kimberly Crow on the Age (April 11, 2009), my sympathy to D'Arcy has risen.
People outside of the sporting world like me do not know what exactly happened in "D'Arcy's Assault" incidence. However, I agreed with Kimberly, D'Arcy has already been punished by the Australian Olympic Committee (please refer the article). Is the punishment enough or he still deserves to be punished more?
I have recently talked to a lady who loves swimming. She used to have ambitions to swim in Olympic, but has not achieved that level so far (unfortunately she may be little bit too old now). She asked me “do you think D’Arcy was a bullying target in Australian Swimming Team?†“Does Swimming Australia determine to destroy D'Arcy's swimming career?â€
Whoever can answer her questions, could you please tell her? With many thanks.

The Age: "Unforgiven: Dajka father's bitter farewell" moves me.
"My heart will never forgive them for taking your life's dreams away from you.
"They tore out your heart, put you in a heap and closed the door.
"I hope the guilt torments them forever, as it has done to us."
I am so sorry for Dejka's family, and hope those heartless people would be punished one day.
Now come back to Swimming Australia, I wish they think many times about the decision been made for D'Arcy. Don't destroy another talent boy. Your power brokers have done enough for D'Arcy. Let him go for FINA World championships. Otherwise you would regret in the future!!

We doesn't have correct answer about that till now. As she became old and not more enough to go for olympics. So, argument about this will be wastage of time. I dont think swimming Australia is going to destroy any ones swimming career.

So I can understand the feeling of people who lost hope like Dajka's father? When I saw D'Arcy in the TV with his legal team to fight with the charge, he looked so depressed, such dark circle around his eyes. I thought "what a hopeless situation for this young boy". I thought (at the time) he won’t survive. It was surprised me when D'Arcy trained so hard, and got involved swimming events. He didn't get a gold, but he wasn't totally destroyed. I guessed he must be admired by many for his resilience.
