I think the easiest way would be using regular expression:
Code:
RegexOptions options = RegexOptions.None;
Regex regex = new Regex(@"[ ]{2,}", options);
string strDelimiter =  @",";               
regex.Replace(strMultiSpaces, strDelimiter );


Using this approach, you can replace multiple spaces with a single space or a comma.
