Difference between TStrings and TStringList

TStrings is an abstract class. Here are some common interfaces: TStrings.count; TStrings[<index>]; TStrings.Add, TStrings.CompareStrings, TStrings.IndexOf.
TStringList implements the abstract properties and methods introduced by TStrings, and introduces new properties, events, and methods. So use TStringList for concrete objects and TStrings for generalisation.
