• Experience in marine surveys and baseline monitoring studies
• Experience in univariate and multivariate statistical analyses
• Extensive experience in field and/or desktop marine and coastal studies
Job Description The Associate Environmental Scientist will join the Environmental Services Group in our Brisbane Office and will be involved with projects for a number of clients and service industries.
The role will include fieldwork management and project management for a variety of small to medium sized projects. Specifically the role will entail field work, data collation, client liaison (as required), analysis of information, preparation of technical reports under the supervision of senior technical staff, budget and time management.
Main responsibilities include:• Assistance with marine biology aspects of multi-disciplined environmental and engineering studies
• Marine biology studies.
• Preparation and implementation of Occupational Health and Safety Plans
• Budget and time management
• Writing technical reports
• Training and mentoring project staff
• Preparation of tenders and proposals and assistance with other Business Development Activities.
• Participate in workgroup initiatives
• Perform other related duties from time to time, provided that they are consistent with your skills, competencies and expertise
