Seems to me a lot of people have lost their jobs since sometime this year. Potential recession again has made everyone nervous: not only employees, but also employers.

Look to move to a better place: I am an environmental scientist. does anyone has an idea which company is a better place? I am current working in a company not too bad, but the people I am dealing with just make me feel so depressed.

SMEC is looking for people in environment area. One of my friend told me SMEC made environmental team redundant, and is looking for environmental scientists. Sounds little bit strange, but it's truely true. try them!

dont try SMEC, they have lost reputation. if you feel depressed in the current environment, you may feel even worse there: you know the leaders, very weird!
