1. ShoutBox
With ShoutBox, you can chat with other online members. The ShoutBox is located at the top of any forum. Or you can use it as a fly out. Click on "Fly Out" button or http://bettereducation.c...um/popup.aspx?g=shoutbox
2. Membership and Single Sign On
Now one membership is shared between the forums and main website. You can login by user name, or email address.
Single Sign On via Google account.
Automatically Register New Users that Login via Google account.
3. Share
Email this topic, LinkBack topic URL, Retweet this topic, Share topic on Google+, Like this topic, Share on Facebook, Digg this topic, Reddit this topic, Share on Tumblr. See the screenshot below.
4. Topic Option - Watch or Unwatch a Topic
You can choose whether you will get a notification where there is an update on the topic.
5. Quick Search Box
A Quick Search Box is available at the top of the toolbar.
6. Thank Post Sender
Allows you to give back another user a positive feedback, for example he or she has posted a message you find useful or helps you to solve a problem. Please click Help button and search "Thanks" for "How to give a User a Thanks" and "View all Thanks".

8. Upload / Attach

Ask your question or post using an HTML editor
Our forum support multiple of editors from traditional BBCode to html editors. The default is BBCode (Bulletin Board) editor. if you are comfortable with HTML, you can choose one of the HTML editors. To change the editor, 1. login 2. click on the user icon at the top-right, or visit http://bettereducation.com.au/forum/yaf_cp_profile.aspx 3. click on Edit Profile hyperlink 4. scroll down to the bottom of the page, find Forum Settings > Select your text editor, select CKEditor (HTML) or TinyMCE (HTML) 5. click on Save button to save your change. See the example forum post using html ckeditor. In this example, the targets of the links are set to "Opens in new window (_blank option)". HTML headers <h1>...</h1> and <h2>...</h2> are used for better Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) like the Heading 1 and Heading 2 in Word. If you are comfortable with HTML, you can select part of your post, click on souce button to edit the HTML elements or attributes. So two ways of copy, paste and edit are supported, rich text format like WORD and html. See also other features such as quotes (quoted text) and image links.

Images / PicturesMaximum size of picture attachment to display as picture is 256 KB. Pictures over this size will be displayed as links. Attached images will be resized to thumbnails if they are too large, or to maximum width 500 pixels or maximum height 600 pixels.
